What We Do

We are an independent group of local SEND parent carers that form the Parent Carer forum for the London Borough of Havering.

We represent those who live in Havering that have SEND/ Neurodivergent young people aged 0-25.

We do this by collecting and sharing the experiences of families in Havering.

How we represent you

We work in collaborative partnership with local authorities, health services, and other organisations locally to influence policy and service development. This can involve participating in consultations, meetings, and strategic planning processes to ensure that the needs of parent carers are considered.

We also take an active role nationally sharing information and representing Havering as part of National Network of Parent Carer Forums C.I.C and are supported by the Charity Contact.

How We Support You

While we’re unable to offer individual support to parents, we’re always happy to guide you toward the right group of people who can help. Our goal is to make sure you have access to the best resources and support available.

We use social media to share important information, but we kindly ask that any details you’d like us to bring to our meetings be shared through the following channels:

  • Filling out our SHOUT IT OUT form
  • Speaking with one of our representatives at an event or meeting (and letting them know you'd like them to share
  • Sending us an email at info@haveringsendfamilyvoice.org

Your voice matters, and we appreciate you reaching out in these ways so we can help amplify it!
